Warden Justification:
Despite the fact that she initially comes off as spoiled and self-centered, Verosika is neither one of those things. She has tasted rock bottom and, rather than let her pain consume her, she channeled it into something positive — helping people deal with their own pain in a healthy manner and letting them know they aren’t alone.
The ache that came from her disastrous relationship with Blitzø is still raw but, after talking it out with him, they both managed to have a conversation that didn’t end up with one of them storming out. People deserve to be given the benefit of the doubt and prove that they can change if they are willing, she can see that, and would want to nurture it. She isn’t a dreamer, she is a realist who employs real world strategies to get things done.
Rather than sit down and let it break her, her therapy came in the form of a party she started throwing every year dedicated to ragging on Blitzø. Her actual motivation was to give anyone else who had been hurt by him a safe space to decompress and deal with their pain, something she was never given. It’s incredibly therapeutic for her as she genuinely cares about people and their welfare. The downtrodden and broken will always have a place at her table.
At the same time, if someone is an idiot, she can easily switch gears and tell them. She is not a meek little mouse and has likely jabbed her perfectly manicured nail into many chests. It’s never short, sweet and to the point, she will lay out everything they have done wrong in a clear and concise manner. She isn’t the type to force someone into doing something but will give them enough of a blueprint that they can take the advice and do something to better themselves with it.

Much like Asmodeus, she is a fan of consent so, while she entices them to give into lust, they pick their partners.
➥ Nerf recommendation: I played in her in a game before and only let it affect people with player permission. If that doesn’t work, it’s fine! Everyone is already in horny jail here, they don’t exactly need her maxing out their get it on stats.
• Voice— Piggybacking off of the seduction aspect, she also has the voice to go with it. When singing, her allure is magnified and she lures them in like a siren luring men to their death.

As she knew what was expected of her upon arrival, she will likely dive right in and take charge. She has spent the entirety of her life in the spotlight, taking on the good, the bad and the ugly that people have to offer.

Far from dissociating, she wants to go in there with a blank slate and no impossible expectations. She would want to know about their goals in life, where they see themselves in five years down the road and, of course, help them find their feet again. Once she becomes better acquainted with an inmate, that initial aloof sentiment will change. She is an empathetic character and, rather than a one size fits all approach, she will personalize a plan that works for their particular strengths and weaknesses based on the vibe she gets from them.
Drawing from her own experiences will play a big part in her game plan because, if she was pulled from a time a few years ago, she could have easily been an inmate herself if she hadn’t pulled herself out of the pit. While she never did anything inherently bad, she fell into the arms of a bottle in the midst of her depression, which led to several failed stints in rehab. She’s even stated that the only reason they let her out is because of her fame and relevance, making a snide comment about rehab being for losers.
As a warden, her greatest strengths will be her heart, her resolve and her tenacity. Even without using her power she has a magnetic personality that tends to draw people to her. When she is on stage she plays up the diva role to titillate the masses, nothing will ever be too much. She knows how to not only pull attention but also keep it, so her ability to keep an inmate focused on the task at hand should be easy in theory.

She knows she has problems but who doesn’t? Everyone in life stumbles from time to time, she just happens to be one of the success stories. Sink or swim. It is so much easier to swallow the feelings, pick up a microphone and sing her heart out every night, but that is like putting a bandaid on a broken arm. In her mind, if you don’t address the root of the problem, it will keep coming back until it threatens to destroy you. Silence never did anyone any favors, so she wants to hear them shout it from the rooftops and own up to whatever horrible things they have done to get them here.

Verosika won’t expect miracles, Rome wasn’t built in a day. If they put forth the effort and show her they’re willing to try, they will have someone in their corner for a lifetime.

With a sigh, she leans back in the chair and props her feet up on the desk, crossing one ankle over the other. Really, he isn’t the worst guy she has had the pleasure of meeting even with all of his crimes, that honor is reserved for a certain limp-dicked imp. Of course he would end up in a place like this, circling the drain like a stubborn piece of shit that refuses to be flushed. He was starting to make progress when she saw him last, so why does it seem like he has regressed so much?
